Full job description

Chef / Baker – Full Time (40 Hours)

We're looking for a full-time Chef / Baker to join our small team at Sunset Orange in Tramore.

Our current chef is moving to London, so we're looking for someone to take over a well-established role and help continue building what we've created.

At Sunset Orange, we keep things simple: great coffee, fresh sandwiches, homemade cakes, and good ingredients. Everything is made with care, and we're looking for someone who shares that approach.

The role involves:

Preparing sandwiches and daily food offerings
Baking cakes, treats, and other in-house products
Managing day-to-day kitchen organisation and prep
Maintaining high food hygiene and kitchen standards
Working closely with a small, hands-on team

The role:

Full-time (40 hours per week)
5 days per week
Daytime hours and evening hours.
Based in Tramore, Co. Waterford

We're looking for someone who:

Has experience working in a professional kitchen
Has baking experience and enjoys making things from scratch
Is organised, reliable, and self-motivated
Works well as part of a small team
Takes pride in producing simple, high-quality food

Experience is very important and attitude is everything. We're looking for someone who wants to be part of a growing independent business and take ownership of their role.
