Breakfast Chef

About the Role

Lakeside Manor is hiring a talented Breakfast Chef to join our kitchen team. You’ll be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality breakfast each morning, along with baking fresh goods such as breads, scones, and pastries. This is a rewarding role suited to someone who loves early shifts, takes pride in their craft, and enjoys working in a peaceful lakeside setting.

Key Responsibilities

Cook all breakfast dishes to a high standard during morning service
Bake fresh goods daily (scones, bread, pastries)
Ensure mise-en-place is well prepped the day before
Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment
Monitor stock and communicate ordering needs
Comply with food safety and hygiene standards
Work independently and take initiative during early shifts

What We’re Looking For

3+ years’ experience in breakfast service and/or bakery
Skilled in scratch baking (especially Irish/continental styles)
Reliable, punctual, and organised
Calm and capable in a solo or small-team kitchen
Strong communication and fluent English
Eligibility to work in Ireland

What We Offer

€18/hr+ depending on experience
Tips shared among the team

Early finishes – shifts typically end by 3pm
4- or 5-day rota options

Schedule

Shifts typically run: 7:00am to 3:00pm
No evening work
4 or 5 days per week depending on your preference
