DB Wood Products Ltd is a well-established Co. Offaly based joinery business specialising in high-quality bespoke joinery. Due to continued growth, we are now seeking a motivated Apprentice Wood Manufacturer/ Joiner to join our team through the SOLAS National Apprenticeship Programme.
About the Role
This role is offered as a SOLAS-approved apprenticeship, combining structured off-the-job training with hands-on practical experience in our workshop. You will work alongside experienced joiners and learn all aspects of the trade in a professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting in the manufacture and assembly of bespoke joinery products and traditional joinery products such as Windows, Doors & Stairs
- Learning the safe use of woodworking machinery and hand tools
- Reading and understanding basic drawings and specifications
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
- Supporting senior joiners with workshop tasks as required
What We’re Looking For
- A genuine interest in joinery, carpentry, or woodworking
- Willingness to enroll in and complete the SOLAS Apprenticeship Programme
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Good attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Reliability, punctuality and the ability to work as part of a team
No previous experience is required — full training will be provided through the apprenticeship.
