Working time can be flexible based around a 39-hour week. Depending on our client location you may be asked to be flexible with your start and finish time to better match clients requirements, however in general working times will be between 8.00am and 6.30pm and can be mutually agreed.
7 Job description:
· Ensures the BIM standards and procedures are established and maintained in accordance with ISO19650 standards and best practices.
· Delivers, assists, and implements BIM execution plans, and ensures all protocols are followed by all project members.
· Establishes and sets up new project models in accordance with project standards
· Collaborates with senior staff to assist on defining deliverables schedules
· Assists on the development and maintenance of MEP content libraries
· Models a range of services including, but limited to, mechanical pipework, ventilation, lighting, power, containment, and drainage
· Prepares coordination strategies and Coordinates services using Revit and Navisworks
· Review of Revit Fabrication & Spool drawings
· Review of 2D co-ordination and installation drawings
· Should have experience on working on projects that include BIM detail LOD300, LOD400 and LOD500
· Manage and attend co-ordination meetings when requested
· Required to work on various phases of the project from stage 3 to stage 5 across multiple regions including UK , Ireland , US and Middle East.
· Confers with project engineer and project management staff to resolve problems and explain drawings to production or construction teams and providing adjustments as necessary
· Updating and administrating of all co-ordination documents registers and drawings
· Responsible for developing and implementing BIM Strategy
· Be the project-based BIM point of contact and be responsible for the delivery of BIM & digital objectives on the project during its entire lifecycle from pre-construction, through to handover and operation.
· Support the project team with preparing the EIR/IMR, accessing and identifying appropriate digital activities for the project and reviewing pre-contract BEP
· Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure compliance with project requirements, company standards, procedures and industry codes. Working closely with the project delivery team, designers and subcontractors to provide and manage project documentation
· Develop and manage 4D ++ BIM Model with support from project control team
· Hold and chair BIM coordination meetings and record 3D BIM clashes throughout the project, generate and distribute reports, action points and owners
· Support each project team by managing and creating content library files and templates, enforcing standards, and evaluating project models against the BEP, MIDP and MPDT requirements.
· Train personnel in the use of BIM Tools, Documentation and awareness to assist in the management and delivery of the project.
· Champion Everest BIM values
· Advise the company o new technologies and trends in the industry.
· Knowledge of Dynamo and COBie will be added advantage.
· The role of Senior Architect will work with the Management Team where they will be required to provide ongoing support to operations as well as develop and manage various work scopes.
· You will assist in the project management and delivery of our Architectural projects you will be responsible for the timely delivery of our agreed deliverables and to ensure a very high level of quality is maintained, along with company development & marketing.
· Mentoring of junior staff
8 Necessary Requirement:
· Good written English and to be proficient at communication in English. Previous similar English work environment an advantage.
· Will ideally possess a 3rd level qualification in a related disciplen.
· Experience in working on UK, Irish, European or US projects.
· Possess 6+ years’ experience in the construction industry of which 4+ years will have ideally been spent in a BIM management role.
· Some experience of working on a construction sites will be advantageous however not mandatory
· Experience managing and mentoring a team.
· Experience in BIM project management
· Experience coordinating/interfacing with other disciplines within the organisation
· Experience in reading and writing BIM documents. BEP’s EIR’s etc.
· Excellent working knowledge in Revit, CAD, BIM Colab, BIM 360, Autodesk AEC & Forma and other CDEs.
· Experience in working on large commercial projects
· Excellent Microsoft Office Skills
· Experience in working as part of a team
· Very good proactive communicator
· Be capable of taking the lead on projects with minimal input from management team
· Knowledge about the requirements of ISO 9001, & 19650
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: €45,000.00-€65,000.00 per year
