Minimum Level 5 Qualification in Childcare is Essential

Provide high-quality care including feeding, nappy changing, toileting, nap supervision, and engaging children in play and activities that support their overall development
Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and carry out observations under the guidance of the Room Leader
Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment, ensuring all equipment and materials are organised and stored appropriately
Demonstrate knowledge of Aistear and Síolta with the ability to implement both in practice, and support compliance with Tusla inspections
Follow all policies, procedures, and child protection guidelines, maintaining strict confidentiality at all times
Work effectively as part of a team, communicate well with children, parents, and colleagues, and attend training and meetings as required
Warm, caring, and reliable with strong communication and teamwork skills
Good knowledge of childcare legislation and regulations
