Parts Advisor- Birdhill
We have an exciting opportunity for a Parts advisor to join the team at McHale Plant Sales, one of Ireland's largest equipment suppliers.
This is a role which will allow the successful candidate the opportunity to work with some of the world's leading equipment manufacturers while learning the industry directly from some of the most experienced people in the business.
This is a hands-on role where you will be working alongside our existing parts and aftersales team. You should have a flexible approach to the job role and be willing to assist in other departments as required. This position will be based at our Birdhill depot
The successful candidate will
· Assist in the day to day running of the Warehouse and Spare Parts department.
· Deal with customers at the front counter and also handle telephone and email enquiries.
· Be responsible for picking and packing parts and booking in and out inventory items.
· Manage goods in/out including organising and loading/unloading deliveries.
· Maintain a clean, tidy and safe warehouse and parts area.
· Manage stock control and assist with stock takes.
The ideal candidate should
· Have a good mechanical knowledge of Construction Machinery
· Be customer focussed, and able to build and maintain strong customer relationships
· Be computer literate and experienced using Microsoft office, excel and ERP systems.
· Have excellent communication and organisational skills
· Have a full Irish Driver’s License, forklift ticket would also be an advantage
Salary will be dependent on experience and there is plenty of scope for progression within this role.
McHale Plant Sales is an appointed distributor of Komatsu construction, agriculture & forestry machinery, Metso, Jonsson & MDS crushing & screening equipment, Prinoth tracked carriers and mulchers, Fuchs material handlers, Topcon & Komatsu machine control systems, Komatsu hydraulic breakers, Engcon tilt rotators, Lenhoff dedicated quick couplers and attachments and xWatch machine safety systems. The company also provides spare parts and repairs for all products represented and operates throughout Ireland and the UK from its depots based at Birdhill Co. Tipperary, Rathcoole Co. Dublin, Edinburgh Scotland and Tamworth UK.
