Senior Sales Administrator
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Senior Sales Administrator to take ownership of our end‑to‑end sales administration function and support the continued growth of our team. This role is suited to someone who has previous experience in sales administration and is ready to operate at a higher level — improving processes, strengthening customer relationships, and acting as a key link between Sales, Operations, Finance, and Senior Management.
You will oversee the smooth running of daily sales operations, ensure accuracy and efficiency across all order flows, and proactively drive improvements that enhance customer experience and internal performance. This is a pivotal role within a fast‑paced food manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Operations & Process Ownership
- Oversee and manage the full sales order lifecycle, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with internal controls.
- Lead the coordination of sales activities across Sales, Finance, Production, Logistics, and Quality.
- Maintain and optimise customer records, pricing files, and sales databases.
- Prepare and analyse sales reports, forecasts, and performance dashboards for management.
- Lead seasonal and event‑based sales execution (e.g., Christmas Hampers, Bloom, RDS Gifted Show), ensuring operational readiness and flawless delivery.
- Manage sample requests and assist with customer product presentations.
- Identify process gaps and implement improvements to streamline workflows and reduce errors.
Customer Relationship & Account Support
- Act as the primary point of contact for key retail and foodservice customers.
- Manage escalations, resolve issues, and ensure a high standard of customer service.
- Work closely with Production, Logistics, and Quality to ensure OTIF (On‑Time In‑Full) delivery performance – Providing reports on this KPI.
- Maintain proactive communication with factory supervisors to ensure daily order accuracy.
- Support the Financial Controller and Operations Manager with customer reviews, data preparation, and account development activities.
- Customer sales within the farm shop on site in Kilkenny.
Delivery Accuracy & Cross‑Functional Alignment
- Partner with Operations to ensure customer expectations are met and exceeded.
- Monitor delivery performance, identify recurring issues, and drive corrective actions.
- Support the growth of existing accounts through strong relationship management and consistent service excellence.
- Ensure all sales processes adhere to company procedures, deadlines, and audit requirements.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Experience with Shopify, QuickBooks, and ERP systems is an advantage (training provided).
- Retail Key Account management experience (Required).
- Full, clean driving licence required.
Job Type
Full‑time, on‑site (7am-4.30pm Monday, 8am-4.30pm Tuesday-Friday) Please note some flexibility will be required during busy periods.
