Full job description

About the Role

We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Mill Production Operator to join our team in a busy feed mill environment. This is a hands-on role involving the operation of bagging equipment, providing relief cover in the panel room, and supporting the day-to-day production activities of the mill.

Key Responsibilities

Operate and monitor bagging machinery, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and quality standards are maintained
Carry out product bagging, stacking, and labelling in line with company specifications
Provide relief cover in the panel room, assisting with mill controls and monitoring production processes
Support intake of raw materials and general mill operations
Ensure adherence to all health & safety and quality procedures at all times
Maintain a clean and organised work environment
Assist with routine checks, maintenance support, and troubleshooting as required
Work collaboratively with colleagues and supervisors to meet production targets

Skills & Experience Required

Previous experience in a manufacturing, agri-business, or feed mill environment is desirable
Experience operating machinery is an advantage
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
Good level of numeracy and literacy
Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Flexible and willing to undertake a variety of tasks
Flexibility to work shifts, when required
