We are looking to recruit a suitably qualified person who has experience & a deep interest in working hands on with Industrial Electronics. The role is primarily to work with the team repairing a broad variety of Industrial Electronic equipment. The Equipment typically ranges from Power Supplies (SMP’s) and Power Inverters to Servo Drives/Motors, Digital & Analog Circuit Boards, Single Board Computers (SBC’s), PLC Controllers and various other Electronic Devices.

The Role Involves
- Reverse Engineering & Diagnosing on the bench faulty Industrial Electronic Equipment at Full Component level;
- Debugging to root cause components related (directly & indirectly) to the fault;
- Exploring & proposing alternative solutions for the customer;
- Outlining the necessary rework/corrective actions required;
- Developing appropriate Test Processes and Test Gigs/Test Beds.
The ideal candidate should have Skills & Experience in most of the following:
- Qualified in Electronic/Electrical Engineering;
- Have a natural talent and deep interest in reverse engineering electronic equipment at Full Component level;
- Reverse engineering electronic equipment to component level;
- Have experience working with electronics at Full Component level;
- Have experience training/coaching technical staff;
- Have specific hands on knowledge of Industrial Electronics such as, Power Supplies, AC Drives/Inverters, HMI’s, SBC’s, & PLC’s;
- Have skills, experience and an interest in developing & building electronic interfaces and test Equipment;
- Comfortable working with single an 3 Phase power.
- Fluent/advanced written and spoken English.

The Equipment you will be working on includes a broad range of Electronic Devices including Power Supplies (SMP’s) and Power Inverters and various other Electronic Assemblies. This is component level work requiring solid Debug knowledge, expertise and strong rework skills and experience.
The role involves:
- Diagnosing and Repairing on the bench Faulty Industrial Electronic Equipment to component level.
- Identifying through iterative debug the root cause components related to the fault.
- Detailing appropriate corrective actions required including identifying suitable replacement parts.
- Soldering, reworking and replacement all necessary components.
- Updating the in house tracking system to outline the steps all technical activity.
The ideal candidate should have Skills & Experience in some of the following:
- Have a natural talent for repairing electronic equipment to component level.
- Have experience working on the bench repairing electronics at the component level.
- Qualified to Vocational Level in an Electronic/Electrical Engineering discipline and have several years experience.
- Have specific knowledge of Power supplies (SMP’s), & AC drives/Inverters.
- Have expertise in high quality rework/repair (to IPC standard) skill on all SMT devices.
- Be comfortable working with power equipment.
- Fluent/advanced written and spoken English.
