Fingleton White provide multidiscipline engineering services for the energy industry. We provide a full range of design, construction and commissioning services and are active across many sectors including Renewables, Gas Networks, Water, Energy & Utilities, and Asset Management. The company is responsible for planning and development of some of the most significant projects in the energy sector in Ireland. Position:

The Role….

Senior Accounts Administrator – REF: 2626

The successful applicant will work as part of our finance team in our head office in Portlaoise.

The role will incorporate the following duties:

Ledger Management - processing and reconciling accounts receivable (AR) including Intercompany
AR - Oversee end-to-end billing and collection process
AR - Liaising with clients to resolve queries and manage credit control
Contribute to the review and continuous improvement of the AR function to enhance efficiency
Support month-end close procedures
Assisting with preparation of monthly management accounts and account reconciliations
Assisting with preparation of year-end financial accounts and audit
Preparing Bank Reconciliations, investigating, and resolving discrepancies
Scope to work in other areas of accounts

Requirements:

The Candidate….

The ideal candidate will have:

Minimum three years of recent experience relevant to the above duties
Accounting or other relevant qualification desirable but not essential
Ability to develop strong relationships with other sector leads and clients
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines
Strong MS Office skills – Excel, Word, Teams
Experience with accounting software
Strong IT skills
