Position Overview: We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our friendly team as Bar and Floor Staff at our busy late bar. As a crucial part of our dynamic establishment, you'll play a key role in providing exceptional customer experiences by delivering top-notch service and creating a vibrant atmosphere for our patrons.
Responsibilities:
1. Bar Staff:
- Take orders and serve a variety of beverages, while ensuring accuracy and adherence to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, recommend drinks, answer questions, and provide an overall enjoyable bar experience.
- Handle cash and electronic transactions, process payments, and maintain accurate till balances.
- Keep the bar area clean, organized, and well-stocked, restocking supplies as needed during busy periods.
2. Floor Staff:
- Welcome guests as they enter the establishment, assist in seating.
- Clear tables, clean spills, and maintain a clean and tidy environment.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and special requests, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Assist in maintaining a safe and comfortable atmosphere, identifying and addressing any potential issues.
3. Team Collaboration:
- Work seamlessly with other staff members, including bartenders, servers, and security staff, to ensure smooth operations.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and managers to relay orders, special requests, and any relevant information.
4. Cleanliness and Hygiene:
- Adhere to proper sanitation and hygiene practices, including handling and disposal of waste, and maintaining a clean work environment.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure the well-being of staff and customers.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a bar or hospitality setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle busy shifts with composure.
- Flexibility to work late-night hours, weekends, and holidays.
- Positive attitude, team player mentality, and a passion for delivering customer service.
