Summer Season Chef de Partie

Honestly Farm Kitchen is a busy, high-volume farm-to-fork restaurant, burger grill, café, and farm shop located in Strandhill on the Wild Atlantic Way. We work with organic produce from our own market garden, breads from our Carraig Rua Bakery, and Dexter beef from Drumanilra Organic Farm.
We’re hiring a Chef de Partie for the summer season to join a structured kitchen focused on consistency, quality, and efficient service during peak trading.
About the Role
You’ll work with Head Chef Shaun and the kitchen team to deliver a fast-paced, quality-led menu across busy daytime and weekend services. This is a hands-on role suited to a chef who is confident managing a section and maintaining standards under pressure.
What You’ll Do
- Run a section during prep and service (grill, sandwich, or prep)
- Prepare and cook dishes to a consistent, high standard
- Maintain food safety, hygiene, and organisational standards
- Support smooth, efficient service during high-volume periods
- Work closely with the team to ensure strong communication and flow in the kitchen
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a busy, quality-focused kitchen
- Experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Commis ready to step up
- Ability to stay organised and consistent under pressure
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Interest in good-quality, locally sourced food
- Availability for the full summer season (April/May–September)
