Here's how you'll bring our trailblazing vision to life:

Supervision of one or both Golf Course Operations Crews, including rostering of staff and first point of contact for Employee relations for the team.

Ensure the course is presented to the highest standard at all times, reflecting the expectations of our ownership and senior team..

Work closely with the Golf Operations and Resort Management teams to support events, competitions, and guest play.
- Adapt maintenance practices around peak resort usage periods to minimise disruption.

Contribute to delivering a memorable visitor experience through course condition and presentation.

Working & communicating closely with other Lead Greenkeeper, Golf course Operations Management and other departments within the resort.

Lead, motivate, and develop a professional greenkeeping team.
-
Establish clear daily work plans aligned with resort priorities.

Stock management - maintaining sufficient levels of stock for the Department and carrying out the monthly stock take.

Maintenance and upkeep of equipment.

Perform turf mowing of Greens, Tees, Fairways, Roughs.
-
Complete bunker grooming, edging and raking.
-
Maintain topdressing of turf areas.
- Maintain trees, watering, fertilising and trimming of branches.

Be responsible for daily course set-up, including pin placements, tee marker rotation, retrieving any rubbish from golf course.

Approach all encounters with guests and team members in a friendly, service orientated manner.

Endeavour to have staff morale as high as possible to achieve the required results.

Always comply with The K Clubs' safety standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient operations.

Being a part of the staging of any major event held at the resort.

Schedule daily work programmes for ground staff.

Spraying duties as required
-
Irrigation duties and repairs as required.
-
Perform any other duties as assigned by management.

Must keep a daily work log containing all golf course activities.

Supervise and assist in the operation and maintenance of pumps, irrigation and drainage systems.

Assist in training of golf course operatives and seasonal ground staff.

Other duties as directed by the Golf Course or Resort superintendent.

5 years' experience within the Greenkeeping field and qualification required.

Management experience within greenkeeping field, at head greenkeeper level.

Provide training in modern turf management techniques and health & safety standards.

Ability to communicate in a positive, respectful, and helpful manner with Management and co-workers.

Be a team leader.

Promote a culture of excellence, accountability, and teamwork.

High standards and quality of service.

Pesticide Application qualifications and experience, including the health and safety procedures involved. They must have a valid spray licence.
