About Phorest

Phorest powers 12,000 hair and beauty salons, spas and medi-aesthetic clinics using our software across the globe. Our aim is to capture 25% of the market globally – that’s one million salons and a billion-dollar company.

We are growing and would like to add a new member to our team. You will join a group of highly motivated individuals, to help us grow Phorest faster.

The Opportunity

This role will help to shape how Phorest grows, building values-led talent practices that turn our ambition into everyday leadership and employee experiences. You’ll help leaders and teams do their best work by creating practical, high-impact enablement and talent programmes that build capability, strengthen collaboration, and improve outcomes for customers and the business.

You’ll play a key role in embedding AI into how we develop our people and how work gets done — with a focus on learning-by-doing, the employee experience, and having a real impact.

What You'll Do

Manage and enhance learning and talent management programs: Managing various aspects of learning and talent management programming including planning, employee communications, scheduling, facilities setup, updating materials, and co-facilitation to run high impact programs like our internal mentoring, leadership development and more.
Build new leader and employee enablement tools and programs that genuinely impact the business: Create simple, useful tools and experiences that help grow employee capability and enable team performance.
Enable AI adoption and embed AI into talent development in a practical way: Create opportunities, build and pilot programs that enable our people to continue adopting AI safely and impactfully. Embed AI tools into our Talent Development programming to enable learning outcomes.
Own our talent development tooling: Take ownership of the tools and systems we use to deliver and scale leadership and employee development (e.g., Culture Amp, Notion, internal learning resources and enablement), and keep innovating to improve how we work.
Support programme delivery: Partner with the Senior Talent Development Partner, Talent Development Director, and the wider People team to deliver high-impact talent initiatives and learning experiences.
Facilitate workshops: Facilitate employee sessions that build capability, strengthen alignment, and reinforce our culture.
Measure and improve: Use feedback and data to iterate quickly and keep what we deliver relevant and valuable.

Who You Are

5+ years of program/project management experience within a People or L&D function, or equivalent experience in another business function combined with a strong, proven passion for talent development, enablement, or organisational growth.
You’re organised, focus on quality and consistently follow through. You like variety and ownership in your work and enjoy a fast pace.
You keep the big picture in mind and understand the value of talent development in the bigger picture.
You enjoy building and improving things: programmes, templates, and ways of working that make life easier as we scale.
You’re AI-curious and practical: you like testing what works and helping others use AI effectively and confidently with the ability to critically evaluate what you create.
You keep the end user in mind: you build enablement that’s simple, genuinely useful, and easy to act on.
You’re a real team player: collaborative, have a can do attitude, and happy to roll up your sleeves to get things done.
You bring a growth mindset: you’re curious, open to feedback, and always looking to learn and improve.
Learning facilitation experience is a plus.
