Steve Noone Landscaping is a 22 year long-established landscaping and groundworks company based in Co. Sligo providing services to the Sligo area and surrounding counties.
Our company primarily specialises in private work ranging from seaside landscapes through to parkland works within SACs, projects ranging in value from €10k to €300k. Generally, the company will complete 20 No €20k - €100k projects per annum.
We have an oppourtunity for a working Finished Groundworks Supervisor.
The director Steve (38) works on the ground daily with all workers on varying projects.
You will be expected to take project brief and execute, daily review of schedules with management, lead guys on the ground.
Team consists of 90% local guys, most time served, good attitude, craic and willingness, just needing a team / project supervisor come lead. Usually team of 4 or 6. Approx 9/10 guys across all teams.
Projects are generally standalone properties, drainage, grade site, install curbing, patios, lighting, walls, small buildings, soft landscaping and driveway finishes, etc.
If successful in initial evaluation - you will be invited to site to review works and workers.
You ought to be able to work on your own initiative. Our MD always says to our staff - "you need to think and work like you work for yourself"
Extra hrs available during peak season.
Good friendly team to work with. You will present yourself cordially and respectfully to our staff and customers.
All licences and tickets an advantage, not essential.
This is a permanent role, salary will be negotiated depending on skills and ability.
