Full job description

Receptionist - Dental Practice

We are seeking a motivated and organised Receptionist to become an integral part of our front‑of‑house team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating a welcoming first impression, thrives in a fast‑paced clinical environment, and is passionate about supporting both patients and clinicians to ensure the ensure the smooth, efficient running of the practice.

As the first point of contact, you’ll help patients feel at ease from the moment they arrive or call. You’ll manage appointments, coordinate patient flow, handle enquiries with warmth and clarity, and keep our reception area running seamlessly. Your ability to stay organised, communicate confidently, and maintain accurate information will play a key part in delivering a positive experience for every patient who walks through our doors.

What are we looking for:

Friendly, personable manner with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong IT skills and comfortable using systems
Dental/medical experience preferred but not essential as full training will be provided
Organised, reliable and able to work well in a busy environment

Position:

Part-Time
Hours: 9:00am – 5:15pm, 3 days per week
Contract: initial 3-month contract
Potential: Opportunity for permanent and/or full-time role depending on clinic needs and performance
