Full job description

We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Senior Bar Person to join our team on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service, and supporting the management team in the smooth running of the bar. This position is ideal for an experienced person with strong bar experience and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver excellent customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and to a high standard.
Ensure compliance with all licensing laws, responsible serving practices, and health and safety regulations.
Support and guide junior bar staff, providing training and leadership during shifts.
Open and close the bar as required, including cash handling.
Maintain cleanliness and presentation standards throughout the bar and customer areas.

Essential Requirements

Experience working in a busy bar environment.
Strong knowledge of beverages, beers, wines, and spirits.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Proven ability to supervise and support team members.
Reliable, professional, and able to work independently.
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
Eligible to work in Ireland.
