Early Years Educator – Maternity Leave Cover
Greenfields Childcare is seeking a caring, enthusiastic and reliable Early Years Educator to join our friendly and supportive team on a full-time maternity leave contract, with the possibility of extension.
The successful candidate will support children’s learning and development in a warm, nurturing and inclusive environment while working as part of a dedicated early years team.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting children’s learning, development and wellbeing
Creating a safe, positive and engaging environment
Planning and participating in age-appropriate activities
Building positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
Working in line with Aistear, Síolta and Tusla regulations
Assisting with daily routines and the smooth running of the service
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Have a genuine passion for working with children
Be kind, caring, positive and dependable
Have strong communication and teamwork skills
Be flexible and willing to support across the service when needed
Be committed to providing high-quality early years care and education
Requirements:
Minimum QQI Level 5 in Early Childhood Care & Education
Previous experience in an early years setting desirable
Garda Vetting required
First Aid, Children First and Manual Handling training desirable
Afterschool Educator
Greenfields Childcare is currently recruiting an enthusiastic and energetic Afterschool Educator to join our growing team on a part-time afternoon basis.
This role involves supporting school-aged children in a fun, safe and engaging afterschool environment where children can learn, play and thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervising and engaging with children after school
Assisting with homework and activities
Planning fun indoor and outdoor experiences
Supporting children’s wellbeing and social development
Working closely with the wider childcare team
Maintaining a safe and inclusive environment
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Enjoy working with school-aged children
Be energetic, caring and creative
Have strong teamwork and communication skills
Be reliable, positive and supportive
Help create a welcoming and engaging environment for children
Requirements:
Experience working with children desirable
Relevant childcare qualification desirable
Garda Vetting required
A positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team essential
Pay: From €15.00 per hour
