Your Impact

As a Cloud Application Engineer / Site Reliability Engineer at OpenText, you will enhance the availability, performance, and stability of OpenText cloud applications and services, with a primary focus on application support. You will automate repetitive work, develop solutions that operate at scale, and provide real-time feedback on production systems. By collaborating closely with Agile squads, development teams, and business partners, you will help improve products and ensure a reliable experience for our clients Your work will directly influence system stability, operational readiness, and client satisfaction.

What the Role Offers

Opportunity to work on cutting-edge cloud infrastructure and PaaS technologies such as Kubernetes, Cloud Foundry, and Docker
Exposure to high-scale distributed systems and advanced monitoring tools like NewRelic, Dynatrace, and Kibana
Collaborative, data-driven team culture with a strong focus on knowledge sharing and continuous improvement
Chance to drive automation and innovation in incident resolution, system monitoring, and operational processes
Development of technical expertise in microservices, RESTful architecture, and middleware technologies
Dynamic environment with rotating shifts and on-call responsibilities, providing real-world experience in 24x7 production support

What You Need to Succeed

Strong technical knowledge of Linux systems and scripting languages (shell, Perl, Python, JavaScript, etc.)
Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure) and container technologies
Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools, as well as APM solutions
Ability to troubleshoot complex production issues and work independently or collaboratively
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Understanding of ITIL principles, security best practices, and application operations
