Head Chef – The Beachcomber Bar & Restaurant Location: The Beachcomber Bar & Restaurant About the Role The Beachcomber Bar & Restaurant is looking for an experienced, passionate and creative Head Chef to lead our busy kitchen team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated chef who takes pride in delivering high-quality food, leading a team, and helping to develop an exciting menu. As Head Chef, you will oversee the day-to-day running of the kitchen, ensuring exceptional food quality, excellent hygiene standards, and an efficient service while creating a positive working environment. Key Responsibilities Lead, motivate and manage the kitchen team. Prepare and serve high-quality dishes to a consistently high standard. Develop seasonal menus, daily specials and new dishes. Manage stock levels, ordering and supplier relationships. Control food costs, wastage and kitchen budgets. Ensure compliance with all HACCP food safety and hygiene regulations. Maintain a clean, organised and safe kitchen environment. Recruit, train and develop kitchen staff. Work closely with management to deliver an outstanding dining experience. What We're Looking For Previous experience as a Head Chef or an experienced Sous Chef ready to step up. Strong leadership and organisational skills. Passion for fresh, quality food and menu development. Excellent knowledge of HACCP and food safety regulations. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and team management skills. Flexible approach to evenings, weekends and holiday periods. What We Offer Competitive salary (based on experience).
