About The Role

Title: EHS Lead

Location: Kildare

Salary: €90,000- €100,000

Position: Permanent Contract

Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm | 40 hours

Work Environment: Fully onsite

We are seeking an experienced EHS Lead to support a large strategic client site in North Kildare. Reporting to the Strategic Account Director, you will lead health, safety and environmental initiatives, ensuring compliance, driving continuous improvement, and promoting a positive safety culture across the site.

Key Responsibilities of the EHS Lead:

Lead and develop site Health, Safety & Environmental programmes and procedures.
Conduct audits, inspections, risk assessments and incident investigations.
Ensure compliance with Irish legislation, company policies and client requirements.
Deliver safety training, toolbox talks and awareness initiatives.
Analyse safety performance data and implement improvement plans.
Provide expert H&S guidance to managers and operational teams.
Build strong relationships with client stakeholders and represent the company at safety meetings.
Lead, coach and develop the site safety team.

Essential Requirements of the EHS Lead:

Degree (or equivalent qualification) in Health & Safety or related discipline.
Strong knowledge of Irish Health & Safety legislation.
Experience in a senior H&S role within a complex operational, construction, engineering or industrial environment.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Valid authorisation to work full-time in Ireland.
Safe Pass.
PSDP and/or PSCS.
Manual Handling Instructor.
Train the Trainer beneficial.
Auditor qualification.
IOSH Chartered Membership (or working towards
