Role
Working within the Operations Division, the primary purpose of this role is to oversee and coordinate stock control operations across the Lubricants division, ensuring optimum stock availability, accuracy, and efficiency. The Stock Supervisor will work closely with the Operations team, Finance and Sales teams to manage inventory levels, support customer demand and maintain strong supplier relationships. This position is critical to maintaining accurate reporting, effective stock management procedures and ongoing lubricant supply chain improvement. The successful candidate will contribute significantly to the stock control function while supporting operational and commercial objectives across the operations team.
Main Duties
- Manage daily stock control activities across the lubricants division.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment of products to maintain service levels.
- Analyse stock movements, usage trends and demand forecasting to optimise inventory holding.
- Conduct stock reconciliations and investigate stock variances.
- Create and manage all stock PO’s and GRNs of inbound product
- Liaising with hauliers to schedule all inbound deliveries
- Outbound route scheduling
- Maintain KPI reporting relating to stock performance, stockholding and service levels.
- Identify slow moving and obsolete stock and implement actions to reduce stock exposure.
- Work closely with suppliers and finance teams in regards purchase orders, deliveries, and stock discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with company policies relating to HSE, quality and operational procedures.
- Provide training and support to team members as required.
Qualifications / Experience Required
- 2 years’ experience in stock control, inventory management, warehouse operations or supply chain role desired – Alternative applicable experience considered.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience using stock management or ERP systems
- Experience within lubricants, fuel, logistics, or distribution industries advantageous
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent an advantage.
