Full job description

We are seeking an experienced Civil / Structural Engineer to join our team, contributing to high-quality design, analysis, and project management for infrastructure and building projects across Ireland. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience, with a solid foundation in civil and structural engineering principles, project lifecycle knowledge, and experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop detailed designs for projects in various sectors, including commercial, residential, and infrastructure.
Perform site inspections, assessments, and feasibility studies, ensuring compliance with local regulations and euro codes.
Perform surveys and assessments
Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to facilitate smooth project execution.
Oversee project timelines, budgets, and technical deliverables, ensuring they meet quality standards and client expectations.
Utilize engineering software to prepare drawings and models.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or Chartered Surveying with relevant experience.
Professional accreditation (e.g., Chartered Engineer / Chartered Surveyor status) or working towards it.
Knowledge of Irish building regulations and standards.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

This role offers the opportunity to take on a senior role in an experienced practice established over 20 years ago.

Projects vary from domestic extensions to commercial builds along with Local Authority and Utility provider works. A wide range of experience will be available to the right candidate in this interesting and diverse role.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: €45,000.00-€60,000.00 per year
