Full job description

Baker/Deli Chef

We are looking to recruit a full-time or part-time chef for an early morning shift in our busy restaurant.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys preparing high quality homemade food and that takes pride in presentation. Ideally have experience in baking, deli ideas, and sandwiches.

Your Role:

· Preparing freshly baked scones and bread each morning.

· Creating a selection of gourmet salads using fresh, seasonal ingredients.

· Preparing daily homemade soups using fresh produce.

· Producing savoury deli items such as quiches, savoury pastries and gourmet sausage rolls.

· Assisting with menu development and bringing fresh ideas to our daily offering.

· Maintaining excellent food hygiene and kitchen organisation.

· Ensuring that all food is consistently presented to a high standard.

What we are looking for:

· Previous experience as a chef/baker in a busy, fast paced kitchen environment.

· A passion for fresh, homemade food and follow food trends. Bringing new ideas to the table.

· Ability to work independently and manage your own section.

· Excellent organisation and time-managing skills.

· HACCP/Food Safety Knowledge.

Pay: €28,300.00-€47,231.68 per year
