The Annebrook House Hotel is currently seeking an organised and enthusiastic Reservations & Events Coordinator to join our team. This is a key role within the hotel, responsible for managing guest reservations as well as coordinating event, function, and conference enquiries.
The Role
As Reservations & Events Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for many of our guests and clients, ensuring a professional, friendly, and efficient service at all times. You will play a vital role in converting enquiries into confirmed bookings while delivering an excellent customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
· Handle bedroom reservation enquiries via phone, email, and online channels
· Manage event, function, and conference enquiries from initial contact through to booking
· Prepare and issue quotes, proformas, and confirmations
· Liaise with relevant departments to ensure smooth delivery of events and guest stays
· Maintain accurate records using the hotel’s booking systems
· Maximise sales opportunities through effective upselling and conversion techniques
· Ensure all guest and client requirements are clearly communicated and delivered
· Assist with administrative duties within the reservations and events office
· Provide a high level of customer service at all times
The Ideal Candidate
· Previous experience in hospitality is preferred
· Strong organisational and time management skills
· Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
· A professional and friendly manner
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy
· Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
· Good computer skills and experience with Rezlynx (preferred)
