Full job description

About Us:

We are a vibrant, customer-focused ice cream store known for our creative flavors and welcoming atmosphere. We’re seeking a passionate and organized Assistant Manager to support our Area Manager and lead our team in daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Area Manager in daily operations, including opening and closing the store safely and efficiently.

Manage cash handling, daily tills, and ensure accurate financial reporting.

Supervise, train, and motivate a team of staff to deliver excellent customer service.

Oversee daily prep work, ensuring all ingredients are fresh, stocked, and beautifully presented.

Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and ensure a positive guest experience.

Support with inventory management, placing orders, and maintaining cleanliness of the shop.

Manage social media accounts to promote products, engage with customers, and drive sales.

Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 1-2 years of supervisory or assistant management experience in retail or food service.

Previous experience in ice cream or dessert establishments is a plus.

Strong cash handling and POS system experience.

Proven ability to lead and inspire a team in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and reliability.

Creative with a flair for social media marketing and brand promotion.

Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.

Passion for customer service and a love for ice cream!
