Bookkeeper (Part-Time)

We are a busy and diverse community service seeking a motivated Bookkeeper to join our team.

Our service includes the following departments:

This is a part-time role of approximately 25 hours per week, working Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Key Responsibilities

Processing sales, purchases, and bank reconciliations
Processing SEPA payments
Weekly payroll processing
Assisting with monthly stock takes
Preparing weekly and monthly journals
Reconciling cash register reports with cash and bank records, and maintaining cash register back-office records
Processing cash lodgements
Preparing and filing VAT and PAYE returns
Assisting with accounts preparation and year-end files
Liaising with Department Managers and Committee Members

Requirements

Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
Ability to manage workload effectively and meet deadlines
Experience with Sage, Colsoft, and Microsoft Excel is desirable but not essential, as full in-house training will be provided
Relevant Experience and qualifications in a similar role, desirable.
