We are seeking a motivated and experienced Breakfast Supervisor to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be professional, customer-oriented, and knowledgeable about our food and beverage offerings.
About The Role
Purpose:
To carry out tasks smoothly and efficiently ensuring standards, guest satisfaction and expectations are met or exceeded at all times.
Job Details:
- To work with and supervise a team of Food & Beverage Assistants
- Communicate and delegate tasks to the team
- To work closely with other Supervisors and/or Manager to carry out and assist in training of staff as required ensuring team members are trained to a high level and continually refreshed on their training
- Manage guest queries in a timely and efficient manner
- Assist Food and Beverage management with achieving financial targets
- Assist Food and Beverage management with training and development of team members
- Assist with job reviews and mid-year/annual appraisals with team members under your responsibility
- Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation
- Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships
- Meeting and greeting Guests as they arrive, ensuring that they are welcome
- Providing efficient and friendly service throughout the Estate
- Cleaning, laying up and clearing tables, stocking up and replenishing service points as necessary
- To report any Guests’ complaints or issues to Management and/or Duty Manager.
- Have thorough knowledge of service standards to ensure a 5* standard is always provided.
- To promote good working relations between team members and to ensure high morale
- To ensure all billing and charging procedures are followed
- To ensure that the team have a complete knowledge of all elements of the food and beverage product
- To attend daily and departmental meetings as required
- Ensure all daily team briefings take place
