N17 Superstores is a well-known retailer in the west of Ireland, successfully operating three electrical and furniture retail stores in Mayo and Galway over the past 28 years.
We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and driven Salesperson to join our sales teams in our flagship store in Milltown Co. Galway in a full time role .
Responsibilities
- Deliver excellent product knowledge to all customers ensuring the best advice is offered and the sale is achieved.
- Full administration related to the sale.
- Display an ongoing interest in product knowledge and keep up-to-date with product trends.
- Ensure excellent store standards are delivered at all times by merchandising and displaying stock to maximise sales potential.
- Ensure excellent customer service.
- Stock management, execution of stock takes, handling damaged products and returns.
Skills and Experience
- 2-3 years of previous experience in a sales advisory role.
- The ideal candidate should be passionate about selling.
- Motivated, energetic and enthusiastic with a strong sales ability and a friendly approachable manner with potential customers.
- Interest in product training and keeping up-to-date with the products.
- Ability to address customer concerns as and when they arise.
- Ability to work on their own or as part of a team.
The Ideal Candidate
- Professional and reliable with a strong commercial mindset.
- Understand the importance of sales and diligent follow-up.
- Confident in interacting with customers and successfully closing deals.
- Available to work 5 over 7 days per week.

- Flexible hours to accommodate a good work life balance - no late evenings. The store opening hours are hours Monday to Saturday (9.30 to 6pm) Sunday (2pm to 6pm). The Full-time hours are 37.5 hour week worked 5 days over 7 (Monday to Sunday)
