We are the Irish distributor for many leading names in the Computer, IT, TV & Consumer Electronics sectors.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the marketing department's activities, contributing to the development and execution of marketing campaigns, and ensuring the continued success of the brands we work with such as – Canon, Philips, LG, TELEFUNKEN, and well known global brands.
This is an on-site role based at our location near Cork City.
We are looking for a super star "all rounder" who would thrive in a very busy role to join our marketing team.
The role is primarily to produce & keep up to date, catalogues, spec sheets & images and web content for the many products we promote.
Email marketing is also a large part of this role, both in producing emails, and keeping up to date schedules for sending email campaigns to various different customer database's, managing Schedule of Eshots & campaigns with Trello
There is plenty of scope & encouragement for creativity once deadlines are kept in mind and brand guidelines adhered to.
A crucial requirement is attention to detail as you will be dealing with product codes & specifications where one digit can mean the difference between a €50 product and a €5,000 product.
Once trained in - you will be asked to produce catalogues or e-shots from just a list or spreadsheet of product codes. Requires someone organised who is capable of maintaining neat filing system & image libraries etc.
Responsibilities and Duties
Reporting to the Head of Marketing your responsibilities will include:
Using Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop to create designs that WOW our customers.
Stripo & Dreamweaver & for HTML e-shots production.
Trello for Campaign planning
CRM & Mailer Lite for Eshot campaigns
MS Office – decent Excel skills particularly useful
Proofing/ Dealing with printers & some suppliers.
Supporting the sales team with marketing collateral
Qualifications and Skills
- Excellent working knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Photoshop & Illustrator is a must (non Negotiable)
- Experience of producing marketing emails at the highest level
- Management of Marketing Databasis
- The ideal candidate will have a broad set of skills and experience and will be open/ keen to learn new skills,
- This role requires an ability to work in a fast moving environment and ability to prioritise.
- Attention to detail is essential.
- An interest in marketing & social media would be very advantageous
- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills and positive attitude
- Strong Organisation Skills.
- Excellent Attention to detail.
- A good attitude towards your work, proactive with a can do approach.
- The ability to work both collaboratively within a team but also on your own initiative.
- Able to work under pressure with tight deadlines, managing own workload and meeting deliveries.
- Fluent English absolutely essential.
Minimum 3 years industry experience preferred.
