Full job description

We are seeking an organised, proactive and customer-focused individual to join our team at our Cork depot. As Office Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the depot, providing administrative support across sales, customer service, health and safety, and general office functions. This is a varied role that requires excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a busy environment.

What you will do:

Provide administrative support to ensure the efficient running of the depot
Process hire transactions using the Company's hire management software
Handle customer enquiries by phone, email and in person, delivering excellent customer service at all times
Liaise with the transport and yard teams to coordinate equipment availability, deliveries and collections
Point of contact for inter-depot communication and coordination
Maintain accurate records, filing systems and customer account information
Assist with health and safety administration, including maintaining training records, inspection records and compliance documentation
Undertake other administrative and ad hoc duties as required

What you will need:

Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively
A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of heavy equipment or a willingness to learn about different types of equipment and their application
