We currently employ over 500 people across our Head Office and retail stores with 40 branches nationwide. Our central warehouse, buying offices, dispatch centre and e-commerce operations are all conducted from our home on the Lodge Road, Westport, Co. Mayo. With buying offices also located in Ennis, and Dublin. Carraig Donn is continuing to grow year on year, with an exciting 10-year expansion plan.
The Role
We're looking for a creative and trend-aware Content Creator & Marketing Executive to join the marketing team at Carraig Donn in Westport.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about social media, fashion and content production. You'll help create engaging content across our digital channels while supporting campaigns, photoshoots, influencer activity and brand marketing initiatives.
You'll thrive in this role if you enjoy fast-paced creative environments, love staying on top of trends, and are excited by hands-on content creation both in studio and on location.
Key Responsibilities

Create engaging social-first content across fashion, jewellery and homeware categories

Film and edit content for TikTok, Instagram and other digital platforms

Support campaign planning and content scheduling

Attend photoshoots, store events and brand activations

Assist with styling, set preparation and shoot coordination

Support influencer, PR and marketing activity
-
Monitor trends and identify new content opportunities
-
Organise and manage digital assets efficiently
-
Collaborate closely with the wider marketing team to deliver campaigns
What We're Looking For

1-2 years' experience in marketing, content creation or social media
-
Strong interest in fashion, lifestyle and retail trends
-
Experience creating short-form social content
-
Excellent communication and organisational skills

A proactive and creative mindset

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge of current social media trends and platforms
Duties
-
Assist in the day-to-day operations of the Marketing Department
-
Seek out trending content formats to implement for Carraig Donn
-
Closely communicate plans with reporting line and HOD
-
Pre-plan activity in line with release plans and promotional activities
-
Produce content from various events, photoshoots, content days, in store & in studio
-
Manage required equipment associated with the role and being suitably prepared for on location days

Edit content and file efficiently adhering to department filing processes

Seek sign off on produced materials & agree use formats

Populate content to TikTok & You Tube in consult with Social Media Manager

Know your assets throughout and be able to edit preproduced content for repurpose

Attend and represent the department at events, photoshoots and otherwise - travel required

Assist in preparation for photoshoots; prepare samples, styling, sourcing required items and props

Raise warehouse orders for items required for marketing purposes

Create on site collections to match social media content

Stage suitable areas for sets for producing seasonal content eg Christmas, Halloween

Assist in the co-ordination of PR, Influencer + TV activity

Tracking digital trends, social channels and latest marketing practices
-
Always be open to innovating and changing practices to meet the business

Research new projects on behalf of the team

Be accountable and always transparent in opportunities to gain efficiencies and add value to the department

Monitor weekly buyer memos and action requirements

Stay informed on teams key goals, focuses

Provide solutions for issues - think on feet and troubleshoot at ease

Co-ordinate any tasks assigned in an efficient manner with the optimal outcome in mind

Always be thinking ahead and foreseeing barriers to success of the department

Role will be 40-hour full time, fixed term role. The role is based in Carraig Donn's Head Office in Westport. Office based 4 days.
