Job Opportunity – Machine Operator (Excavator Operator)
We are currently seeking an Excavator Operator to join our team. This role would suit someone with experience operating excavators who is looking to further develop their skills across a range of machinery within a busy and dynamic site environment. Experience operating other plant machinery would be an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate excavator equipment safely and efficiently.
- Conduct daily inspections and basic maintenance checks on machinery.
- Work as part of a team to meet project timelines and operational targets.
- Support day-to-day operations across the site, including the Aggregate Recovery Plant (ARP).
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment at all times.
- Assist with general site duties as required.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience operating excavators is essential.
- Experience operating other plant machinery is desirable.
- Valid Safe Pass card is desirable.
- Manual Handling certification is desirable.
- Excavator CSCS Ticket (or equivalent plant operator certification).
- Full, clean driving licence preferred.
- Own transport (Site is not accessible by public transport)
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Strong awareness of health and safety requirements.
- Reliable, punctual, and capable of working effectively as part of a team.
- Flexible approach to work and working hours.

What the Role Offers
- Annual salary: €40,000 – €46,000 (depending on experience)

Working Hours
- Full-time, Monday to Friday (Day Shift)
- 45 hours per week
- Site operating hours between 6:00am and 6:00pm (shift hours to be agreed with the successful candidate)
