Full job description

Pay negotiable depending on experience.

Candidates must be capable of performing, or willing to learn, both tipper and ready-mix driving roles.

Must hold a valid and up-to-date CPC and Safe Pass certification.

Key Responsibilities:

For Rigid Tipper Duties:

Transport loose bulk materials (e.g. stone, gravel, sand) from the quarry to external sites.
Safely load and unload using tipper mechanism.
Perform vehicle checks and ensure proper load securing and weight limits.
Operate within quarry health & safety regulations and traffic routes.

Key Skills:

Experience with heavy vehicles.
Understanding of load securing and weight limits.
Good spatial awareness for maneuvering in tight or busy sites.

For Ready Mix Duties:

Load concrete at the quarry batching plant.
Deliver ready-mixed concrete to customer construction sites.
Discharge concrete safely and efficiently at site.
Wash out the mixer drum after deliveries as per environmental and safety standards.

Key Skills:

Knowledge of concrete properties and handling.
Ability to work under time constraints.
Site safety awareness.
