Boston Scientific is seeking a highly motivated Production Supervisor (Evenings) on a permanent basis to join our Cork team.
Job Purpose:
As a Production Supervisor, you will play a vital role in leading a team of production operators within a collaborative and supportive environment. Your leadership will be key to ensuring the efficient and safe delivery of high-quality products, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership: Supervise and support production personnel to meet daily targets in quality, output, and efficiency.

Production Planning: Assist in developing and maintaining production schedules, incorporating staffing, training, and capacity planning.

Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with Warehousing, Quality Assurance, Packaging, and Engineering teams to ensure timely product flow and shipment.

GMP, 5S & Housekeeping: Promote and maintain high standards of Good Manufacturing Practices and workplace cleanliness.

Process Oversight: Monitor material flows, space utilization, and equipment performance to ensure optimal production efficiency.

Administrative Duties: Manage time and attendance, holiday planning, and contribute to build plan and progress tracking.

Health, Safety & Environment: Work with EHS to identify and reduce environmental impacts and ensure a safe working environment.
Education & Experience:
-
3-5 years experience people-management in a dynamic production environment

Hons Bachelor Degree (level 8) in a relevant discipline such as Engineering/Science/Production Mgt./Business Mgmt./Supervisory.

Excellent planning & organising skills are essential for this role.

Metrics and continuous improvement experience.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and demonstrated ability to motivate and engage with teams.

Experience of managing a team.
