Full job description

The Position is not available to Summer Work or Students - This is a Full time role.

We are looking for a motivated, reliable, and hardworking Kitchen All-Rounder to join our busy café team. This is a hands-on role where you'll assist with food preparation, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, supporting the kitchen team during busy service, and helping ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the café kitchen.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in producing quality food, and is happy to turn their hand to a variety of kitchen duties.

Key Responsibilities

Preparing sandwiches, wraps, salads, breakfasts, and light lunch dishes to a high standard.
Assisting with daily food preparation and mise en place.
Ensuring food is presented consistently and served promptly.
Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and cleanliness.
Washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
Cleaning and sanitising workstations throughout the day.
Rotating stock and assisting with deliveries.
Monitoring food quality and reporting any issues.
Following all HACCP and food safety procedures.
Supporting other team members wherever needed to ensure efficient kitchen operations.

What We're Looking For

Ability to work well under pressure in a busy café environment.
Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
A willingness to learn and take on a variety of tasks.
Previous kitchen or café experience is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices is an advantage.
