Full job description

Lissycasey Laugh and Learn Childcare Service is seeking an organised, reliable, and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team on a part-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced bookkeeping professional looking for flexible working hours in a friendly and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate financial records and bookkeeping systems.
Process purchase invoices, supplier payments, and receipts.
Reconcile bank accounts and financial transactions.
Assist with statutory reporting.
Monitor cash flow and budgets.
Prepare financial reports for management.
Liaise with accountants, auditors, and relevant agencies as required.
Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
Provide general administrative support relating to finance.

Essential Requirements

Previous bookkeeping experience.
Excellent numerical and organisational skills.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
Strong communication and confidentiality skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.

What We Offer

Flexible working hours (10–15 hours per week).
Up to 23 days Annual leave.
Up to 7 days Sick leave.
Discretionary Christmas Bonus.
Competitive rate of pay, commensurate with experience.

Pay: €19.00-€21.00 per hour
