Full job description

We are hiring Pipe Fitters

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Pipe Fitter to join our team in Limerick. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, assembling, and maintaining piping systems according to specifications and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have experience working with various materials such as steel, copper, and copper and possess a strong understanding of plumbing and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities:

Read and interpret technical drawings, and specifications to determine the layout and installation of piping systems.
Cut, thread, and weld pipes using hand and power tools as necessary.
Install and assemble piping systems including valves, fittings, and fixtures.
Inspect and test piping systems for leaks and ensure proper functionality.
Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors on-site to ensure timely completion of projects.
Adhere to safety standards and protocols at all times to prevent accidents and injuries.
Maintain accurate records of materials used and work performed.
Troubleshoot and repair piping systems as needed.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Pipe Fitter
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
Strong knowledge of piping materials, fittings, and fixtures.
Ability to use hand and power tools effectively and safely.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Trade in pipe fitting or plumbing.
Candidates will undergo a trade test to assess skills and suitability for the role.

12hr Shifts.
