Title of Post: Allocations Coordinator - School of Medicine
JOB SYNOPSIS
The School of Medicine, University of Limerick is pleased to invite applications for the position of Executive Administrator (Allocations Coordinator). Reporting to the Clinical Academic Liaison Manager, this new post will have responsibility for the management and delivery of all aspects of the Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery (BMBS) both graduate entry and direct entry hospital placement matching process including oversight of the discipline specific rotation allocations. Given that clinical placements represent 50% of the BMBS GEMS programmme and 33% of DEM programme and are undertaken across diverse a number of affiliated hospital settings and GP practices, the Allocations Coordinator leads multi-stakeholder engagement both internal and external to UL. Current UL affiliated teaching hospitals include UL Hospitals Group, Portiuncula University Hospital Ballinasloe, Tipperary University Hospital Clonmel, St. Luke’s General Hospital Kilkenny, Midland Regional Hospital Port Laoise and Midland Regional Hospital Tullamore.
