Full job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Food & Beverage Manager to join the management team of Great National South Court Hotel, Raheen, County Limerick. This is a full-time position offering excellent career development.

The Role

This is a full-time role, working an average of 42.5 hours per week, 5 days over 7, including weekends and public holidays.

Key Responsibilities

Assist food & beverage operations across the hotel's restaurant, bars, and conference/function areas
Lead, motivate and support a team of approximately 25-30 staff members
Ensure high standards of service are maintained at all times
Liaise closely with the kitchen team regarding menus and food service
Assist with weekly rostering and departmental administration
Support staff training and development
Drive sales initiatives in conjunction with the sales team
Cover duty management shifts across the hotel when required
Work closely with the wider hotel management team on daily operational needs

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Food & Beverage Supervisor in a busy 3*/4* hotel
Strong background and knowledge of food & beverage operations
HACCP trained
Excellent people management and leadership skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Customer-focused with a hands-on approach
Ability to multi-task and assist in all operational areas when required
Experience in conference & banqueting and events is desirable
Experience using hotel front office systems is an advantage
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Fluent English, both written and spoken
Flexible, enthusiastic and willing to learn
