Job Title: Early Year Educator
Job Summary:
We are seeking a caring, responsible, and energetic Childcare Worker to provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children. The successful candidate will support children’s physical, emotional, social, and educational development through daily activities, supervision, and positive interaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times
- Plan and lead age-appropriate educational and recreational activities
- Assist children with meals, hygiene, dressing, and daily routines
- Encourage positive behaviour and social development
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe childcare environment
- Observe and report children’s progress, behaviour, and any concerns to parents or supervisors
- Support children’s emotional needs and create a welcoming atmosphere
- Follow all health, safety, and safeguarding policies and procedures
- Work collaboratively with parents, guardians, and team members
Requirements
- Previous experience working with children preferred
- Minimum Level 5 in Childcare, Early Childhood Education
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, compassion, and reliability
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Knowledge of child protection and safety practices
- First Aid and CPR certification preferred
Working Conditions
- Full-time Sucessfull
- Successful candidate will be required to work in both pre school and Afterschool Session
- Half day every Friday
Pay: €15.00-€17.50 per hour
