Giltraps are looking for a reliable and hands-on Maintenance Caretaker to join the team at Giltraps in Kinnitty.
It’s a varied role and would suit someone who enjoys practical work, is happy to get stuck in and can work on their own initiative.
The job will include:
- General maintenance and small repairs
- Carpentry and basic repair work
- Painting and decorating
- General cleaning and keeping areas tidy
- Looking after outdoor areas and grounds
- Stock control and keeping supplies organised
- Receiving and putting away deliveries
- Moving furniture, equipment and supplies when needed
- Spotting maintenance issues and getting them sorted
- Helping out with other day-to-day jobs around the property
Experience with carpentry and painting would be particularly necessary, while some knowledge or experience of basic plumbing and electrical work would be an advantage.
We’re looking for someone who is reliable, practical and flexible, with a good eye for detail and an ability to see what needs to be done without always having to be asked.
Previous maintenance, construction, property or hospitality experience would be useful, but most importantly we’re looking for someone with a good attitude and willingness to get stuck in.
