Full job description

We are currently recruiting a full time Kitchen Porter for our Beaumont Lodge Transitional Care unit

As a kitchen assistant you will be required to complete tasks in the kitchen including duties such as cleaning, washing up and basic food preparation.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Assist Senior Kitchen Staff within a Nursing Home setting
Keeping Kitchen area clean & tidy
Operating dishwasher & other kitchen equipment
Filling & emptying catering trolleys
Managing waste management
Some food preparation
Assisting with clearing tables on the dining room floor
Cleaning Dining Room area
Familiarise yourself with the Food Hygiene Manual and follow the standards stipulated.
Ensure thorough and frequent hand-washing.
Adhere strictly to hygiene requirements before and after using the toilet accommodation.
