Kitchen Assistant Full TimeWell Café Killarney

Well Café is looking for a reliable, energetic, and organised Kitchen Assistant to join our growing team in Killarney.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced café environment and takes pride in food presentation, cleanliness, consistency, and customer experience.

Main Responsibilities

Preparing and assembling toasties, breakfast items, wraps, and bowls
Preparing and serving Well Café signature açaí bowls and smoothies
Food prep including vegetables, fruit, sauces, proteins, and garnishes
Maintaining high food presentation standards
Supporting daily kitchen operations during busy service periods
Ensuring all HACCP procedures and food safety standards are followed
Temperature checks, cleaning schedules, and stock rotation
Keeping kitchen and prep areas clean, organised, and efficient
Assisting with deliveries and stock organisation
Working closely with front of house and management team

Requirements

Previous café or kitchen experience preferred
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Ability to work efficiently under pressure
Good understanding of food hygiene and HACCP
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Attention to detail and consistency
Flexibility to work weekdays and weekends
