Full job description

Macbees has an exciting opportunity within our Digital Department for a Digital Marketing, Content & Website co-ordinator. This is a fantastic chance to join our iconic independent fashion boutique, which has been in business for over 40 years. We have a strong dynamic digital presence and have been developing this side of our business to deliver the same elevated shopping experience and excellent customer service to our online shopper as they enjoy in store. We are looking for a digital savvy, fashion obsessed go-getter to join our fabulous, hardworking team.

KNOW THE ROLE

The position of Digital Marketing, Content & Website Co-Ordinator will involve developing and maintaining a digital marketing strategy for Macbees across our website, social channels and e-mail marketing platform to ensure the elevated shopping experience offered in store is available online.

The role will include inputting stock from order level through POS and into our Shopify store. These products will need to be tagged and optimised to ensure high performance of our POS system and website. Ongoing analysis of our online store and reporting will be essential to growing this side of the business.

Content creation and scheduling for social media including Instagram, Facebook and TikTok will also be part of this role, as well as analysis of performance across these social channels.

Customer service is key to the Macbees brand and as our digital face excellent communication skills are necessary when dealing with online sales, returns and DMs.

We are looking for someone that has a passion for all things fashion, thrives under seasonal pressure, seeks out new ways to approach things, is self motivated and communicates well with customers and other members of the team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintaining the Shopify website to include product upload, SEO, management of online sales and returns.

Developing and maintaining a digital marketing strategy to include social media marketing, e-mail marketing and SEO together with the Digital Manager.

Creating content for social media as well as planning, scheduling, posting and analysis together with the Digital Manager.

Co-ordination of order entry and goods inwards into our POS system as well as invoice reconciliation together with the Floor Manager.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR:

A high level of digital literacy as well as experience in the use of Excel is essential.
The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic, self motivated and have the ability to work independently as well as love working as part of a team.
Confident multitasker with strong organisational and time management skills
Experience in website maintenance, digital marketing and use of AI would be hugely beneficial.
A creative flair in the use of Canva, Mailchimp / Klayvio and content creation would be a plus.
A degree in Digital Marketing or similar would be greatly beneficial but not essential.
Excellent English communication skills, verbal and written are essential.

Pay: €30,000.00-€35,000.00 per year
