Job Title: Senior Carpenter / Lead Carpenter

Job Description:

CJ Construction Ltd is seeking an experienced Senior Carpenter to join our growing team. We specialise in high-quality extensions, renovations, and bespoke fit-out projects throughout Kilkenny and surrounding areas.

This role is suited to a skilled and motivated carpenter with a minimum of 5 years’ experience who can work independently, lead by example on site, and consistently deliver a high standard of workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out 1st and 2nd fix carpentry to a high standard.
Work on residential extensions, renovations, and bespoke fit-outs.
Install kitchens, wardrobes, and other custom joinery.
Undertake roofing and structural carpentry works.
Read and interpret drawings and specifications.
Coordinate and work alongside other trades when required.
Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Maintain a clean and organised work area.

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years’ carpentry experience.
Proven experience in extensions, renovations, and high-end residential projects.
Ability to work independently and manage tasks without supervision.
Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
Full clean driving licence essential.
Own tools and transport essential.
Reliable, professional, and punctual.
References required and will be checked.
