Full job description

UA Motors is seeking an enthusiastic Motor Mechanic Apprentice at any stage of their apprenticeship.
Whether you’re just starting your career or completing the final years of your training, we’d love to hear from you!

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Keeping the garage clean and tidy
Cleaning your own tools and assisting with maintaining supervisor’s tools
Following instructions and guidance from senior mechanics
Observing and learning to build industry knowledge and skills
Performing minor diagnostics and troubleshooting
Reading car manuals and following diagnostic procedures
Carrying out vehicle maintenance using systems such as Autodata / Alldata
Other duties depending on experience level

Key Skills

A positive, “can-do” attitude
Willingness to learn and develop new skills

Requirements

Must have the right to work in Ireland
Existing registration with SOLAS (if you are changing employer) or willingness to register with SOLAS as Motor Mechanics Apprentice
