Job Title: Experienced Baker

Location: Douglas, Cork

Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time / Flexible

About Us: At Applebee Bakes, we are passionate about creating delicious and visually stunning sweet treats that bring joy to our community. We pride ourselves on using high-quality ingredients to craft a variety of sweet treats, cakes, cookies, and other baked goods. We are currently looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Bakers to join our team and help us continue to delight our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and bake a wide range of sweet products including cakes, cookies, and specialty desserts.
Follow recipes and create new ones to meet customer demands and seasonal trends.
Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation of all baked goods.
Manage baking schedules to ensure fresh products are always available.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering ingredients and supplies.
Collaborate with the team to develop new products and improve existing ones.
Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and accommodating special requests.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a Baker, Pastry Chef, or in a similar role in a bakery or pastry shop essential.
Strong knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients.
Creativity and passion for baking sweet treats.
Ability to work morning shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Excellent time management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
