Full job description

The Foods of Athenry are a food manufacturing company based outside Athenry, in Co. Galway. We manufacture a wide range of granolas, snack bars, cookies as well as seasonal Christmas bakery foods such as puddings, Christmas cakes and pies.

We currently have full-time , part-time and short term contract vacancies for hardworking, self motivated staff who would like to work as part of a small team in our production facility. Must be car owner as we are rurally based.

Duties include:

Assist bakers with decanting ingredients & recipe formulation.
Carrying out operations in the packaging area, including packing & labelling.
Follow detailed instructions and perform other tasks as directed.
Complete and comply with all documentation as required in the process.
Ensure manufacturing activities are completed in a manner which will not compromise the health and safety of employees and visitors to the site

What we are looking for:

Previous experience in food manufacturing or production is beneficial but not essential.
Ability to effectively communicate in the English language verbally and in writing.
Able to read and interpret standard Operating procedures and work instructions.
Good work ethic
Enthusiastic and helpful team member
