Full job description

The Role

A large practice in Galway City are looking to recruit an experienced Legal Secretary to join its busy practice. The position will be based in Galway City. This is a full time permanent position. Please apply with a CV and Cover Letter, together with your salary expectations.

Responsibilities

The suitable candidate will be required to assist and support the team in handling sales of residential and commercial property as well as assisting the litigation department by working on litigation files, filing documents with the court and service, drafting documents and correspondence, checking compliance with court procedures and rules and communicating and meeting with clients whenever necessary.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a legal secretary
Excellent computer skills including Word, Excel and Outlook

Experience with Case Management Software and diary management
Experience with Property Law
Fast and accurate typing speed, min 60 wpm
Ability to prioritise and work under pressure
Must be able to work as part of a team and have a flexible approach
Good oral and written communication skills
Good organisational skills
